Holiday of Hope

Hello Auburn Photography Club!
My name is Jessica Wrench and my husband and I are putting together a Christmas event for families in need in Cayuga County. It's called Holiday of Hope. At the Holiday of Hope we provide dinner, free haircuts, a toy for each child from Santa, games, clothes and a family portrait. All free of charge. Our heart in this is to give families who may not have the best Christmas, a fun family event that will bring hope joy and love.
To make this event happen, we are looking for more photographers. And this is why I come to you! :) We are looking for photographers to volunteer some time to take family portraits at our event. It is on Sunday December 18th from 2-5pm at the old Steve & Barry's location at Finger Lakes Mall.
If any of you are interested, please message me on Facebook or email me at jessica (at) forsakengeneration.com
Thank you!
Merry Christmas!! :)

We're doing it again. That's a good thing. Newer members, and perhaps some older APC folks may not know this, but last year APC self published a book. It's actually still available here: http://ping.fm/fjegD
It turned out fairly well, and generated a small amount of revenue for the club, and individual members. We are planning to do it again, but there are a few minor changes. To help improve the overall look of the book, I'll be performing some image post-processing for people who allow me to do so. Blurb has done some things that make this a little easier. If you have a fair deal of confidence in your monitor calibration skill, you may want to opt out of this step. Another change is the timing. Last year, we published after Christmas. This time around, the book should be shipping in time for the holidays. In the interest of inclusion, nobody will be left out. It doesn't cost the club anything to print the book, so there really isn't an upside for excluding people. We want to publish a body of work that represents the current level of achievement for the club at this point in time. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

For complete details, send an email to auburnxc (at) gmail.com with APC BOOK in the subject line. The body of your message can be something as simple as "I'm in!."
Please respond by November 29.

Thanks, Don
Nuptials! Congratulations to Auburn Photography Club members, Dean Aversa & Rhonda Miller, who were married on November 12th. See photos from the big day in a book: http://ping.fm/Vu4ie
